Sean Riley is a sports television expert with over 20 years of experience in sports programming, content distribution and digital platforms. Riley is the founder and former Managing Director of Flow Sports Network in the Caribbean, (owned Liberty Latin America). Riley was recruited to lead a team to build, launch and distribute Flow Sports, which is distributed in 22 countries throughout the Caribbean. Based in Trinidad & Tobago, Riley managed all aspects of the Flow Sports business, including sports rights acquisitions, advertising sales, original programming, live sports production, marketing, digital/OTT and wholesale distribution. Under Riley’s management from 2015-2019, Flow Sports became the highest rated sports network in the Caribbean for three consecutive years.
Prior to Liberty Riley was Senior Vice President, Distribution and Marketing at Fox. During his 16-year tenure which concluded at the end of 2013, Riley played a key role in launching and distributing multiple new Fox networks including Fox Sports 1, The Big Ten Network, National Geographic Channel, FXX, MundoFox and several others. Riley managed a team of 60 sales and marketing personnel and he negotiated hundreds of wholesale carriage agreements.
In 2020 Riley launched Barvanna Network, a new sports and entertainment network specially designed for bars and restaurants. In 2015, Riley joined Layer3 TV as a member of the Content Advisory Board (prior to the acquisition by T Mobile).
